Many student-athletes have big hearts and want to give back to the community. They are often approached by different groups to do fundraising events. Some are charitable organizations such as the United Way; others are run by local vendors, who want to use well-known student-athletes to promote their establishments. What are the guidelines for student-athletes when becoming involved in these promotional events?
